The youth movement has begun for the United States Men's National Team and it will include New England Revolution players.
Peyton Miller and Brooklyn Raines earned their first call-ups to the senior men's sides after featuring in the youth national team setup. Other notable inclusions are Cavan Sullivan, Adri Mehmeti, Julian Hall, and Zavier Gozo. Christian Pulisic did not make the roster.
One larger omission is Matt Turner. The New England Revolution goalkeeper failed to secure a call-up, while Chris Brady, Matt Freese, Diego Kochen, and Brian Schwake made the roster.
The roster features 13 uncapped players. Mathis Albert, Cole Campbell, Justin Ellis, Neil Pierre, and Frankie Westfield could get their first senior national team minutes, as well as Miller, Raines, Sullivan, Mehmeti, Hall, Gozo, Schwake, and Kochen.
While bending towards youth, USMNT mainstays Sergiño Dest, Antonee Robinson, Miles Robinson, Chris Richards, Tyler Adams, Yunus Musah, Gio Reyna, Malik Tillman, and Ricardo Pepi made the roster. Auston Trusty, Alex Freeman, and Sebastian Berhalter also earned call-ups.
The USMNT will play matches against Peru, Chile, Mexico and Canada. Players will begin reporting to Atlanta on September 20.
