Rhode Island FC Signs Zachary Herivaux
The former Revs Homegrown returns to the region following stints in San Antonio, Birmingham, and Tampa Bay.
Former New England Revolution Homegrown Zachary Herivaux returns to the region as he joins USL Championship newcomers Rhode Island FC from the Tampa Bay Rowdies.
Herivaux's time in New England saw him appear in 18 matches, where he tallied two goals and an assist over 688 minutes after becoming the Revolution's third-ever Homegrown signing on May 2nd, 2015.
After departing New England, Herivaux went on to have spells with San Antonio FC, Birmingham Legion, and most recently, Tampa Bay Rowdies. Since arriving in Tampa before the 2023 season, Herivaux has appeared in 10 matches for the Rowdies, where he tallied one goal over 552 minutes.
Herivaux joins Rhode Island FC as they find themselves just outside the playoffs in ninth place with 16 points on a 3-4-9 record.
Head coach Khano Smith and RIFC will look to extend their unbeaten run to four matches on Friday, July 5th, when they host Indy Eleven at 7:30 PM ET.
