Revolution Set To Break Attendance Record On April 27th
Leo Messi and Inter Miami's visit to Gillette Stadium will be a historic day for the Revolution!
It appears the New England Revolution are on track to break a club record when star-studded Inter Miami CF pays a visit to Foxboro on April 27th, as the club announced they surpassed 60,000 tickets for the match.
The club expects April 27th’s match to break the current Revolution attendance record of 61,31 set on October 20th, 2002, when the Revolution hosted the LA Galaxy in the 2002 MLS Cup Final.
April 27th’s match has the potential to become the third-ever soccer event at Gillette Stadium to surpass 64,000. The most recent instance came on June 4th, 2011, when 64,121 people came to see the United States face Spain in an international friendly. The highest-attended soccer event in the building came on September 12th, 2007, when an international friendly between Brazil and Mexico saw 67,584 fans in attendance.
If you’re looking to see the MLS’ best #10, Carles Gil, and the star-studded cast of Inter Miami, the time to act is now, as the club says under 5,000 tickets are available.
