Brenden Aaronson, Haji Wright Added To USMNT Nations League Finals Squad
Berhalter and the U.S. kick off the 2024 Concacaf Nations League Finals run on Thursday, March 24th, as they face Jamaica in the Semifinals at 7:00 PM ET
Gregg Berhalter had to adjust the roster before the upcoming Concacaf Nations League competition as Luca de la Torre (right quadricep strain) and Josh Sargent (right ankle irritation) had to withdraw from the competition. With de la Torre and Sargent out, Union Berlin’s Brenden Aaronson and Coventry City’s Haji Wright joined the squad.
Aaronson enters the Concacaf Nations League Squad after appearing in 30 matches across all competition for Union Berlin, where he scored two goals over 868 minutes. Aaronson enters the tournament with eight goals in 38 caps for the United States.
Wright comes into the competition with 15 goals and seven assists over 40 appearances across all competitions with Coventry City. Wright also has two goals over seven caps with the United States.
