Vermont Green FC Captain Jake Ashford Returns for 2023 USL League Two Season

Another familiar face returns in 2023

Vermont Green FC will have its captain back in 2023 as the club announced that captain Jake Ashford would be returning for the upcoming USL League Two season.

Ashford played over 1,100 minutes for the Green in the club’s debut season and tallied three goals and an assist. The defender followed up that performance with a goal and two assists with Creighton. In total, Ashford has played in 47 games for the college and tallied two goals and two assists.

Ashford told fans that he is excited to be coming back in a video posted by the club.
