Revs Academy Gearing Up For MLS NEXT Cup
The Revolution's U-15 and U-19 squads will look to bring home a trophy!
The Revolution Academy is gearing up for another exciting year of MLS NEXT Cup Playoff action. New England will see their U-15 and U-19 sides travel to Nashville, Tennessee, to begin play this week.
The U-19s booked their ticket to the playoffs after securing three straight wins over RSL Arizona, Diablo Valley Wolves, and the Houston Rangers in last month’s MLS NEXT Fest competition. Former Revolution Goalkeeper Brad Knighton’s side holds a 14-7-3 record entering the tournament. Knighton and the U-19s will look to earn their third-straight U-19 title after securing back-to-back wins in the first two editions of the tournament.
The U-19s begin their run for a third cup on June 16th when they face Shattuck-St. Mary’s at 9:30 AM.
The U-15s earned their spot in the playoffs via league play after securing a 13-9-1 record. They’ll open their run to the cup on June 15th when they face the Seattle Sounders at 5:15 PM.
22 select matches, including all age group finals, will stream on MLS Season Pass.
