Weinstein becomes the ninth Revs Academy product to ink a deal with Revs II
Revolution II made another addition to their roster ahead of the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro season as the club announced the signing of Academy goalkeeper Max Weinstein, who becomes the ninth Revs Academy product to sign with the club.
It's been a steady rise for Weinstein ever since participating in a Revs Elite Player Pathway camp. Weinstein was a part of the magical run for the U19s that saw them capture the organization’s first national title. Weinstein was in net throughout the entire run and earned the Goalkeeper of the Tournament award.
Weinstein took the next step of his soccer journey on July 31st, 2022, as he made his professional debut. With Jacob Jackson out due to a knee injury, Weinstein appeared in eight of the final nine Revs II matches for 2022, where he notched 33 saves while maintaining three clean sheets.
The Revs II roster currently stands at 17 players entering the season. Revs II kickoff their 2023 MLS NEXT Pro campaign on Sunday, March 26th, as they take on Atlanta United 2 at 7:30 PM ET on MLSNEXTPro.com.
