After a successful 2023 campaign, Revolution II have taken the first steps to prepare for 2024.

Jordan Adebayo-Smith, Jacob Akanyirige, Brandonn Bueno, Marcos Dias, Olger Escobar, Patrick Leal, Victor Souza, and Max Weinstein have guaranteed contracts for the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season.
Adebayo-Smith returns for a second season after an electric debut season for Revolution II in 2023. The 22-year-old tallied a team-high 12 goals and seven assists over 27 appearances. His 12 goals marked the first time a player had reached double-digit goals in a season for Revs II.

Escobar returns for a second season after a year full of progress on the club and international levels! After starting the 2023 season with the Revs Academy, Escobar inked a deal with Revolution II on July 26th. Escobar ended the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro campaign with one assist over 588 minutes.
Olger also assisted the Revs U19s in securing their second-straight MLS NEXT Cup in July. Escobar was also named the U-17 MLS NEXT MVP and a MLS NEXT All-Star. On the international stage, Escobar saw stints with the Guatemala U-17 squad and will look to make his senior debut with the nation on November 11th as they face Jamaica.
Leal returns for his second season with Revolution II. Leal, a former Revs Academy product, returned to New England after departing Italian side Venezia on August 4th. Leal appeared in 11 matches, where he tallied two assists over 483 minutes.
Souza returns for a second season with Revolution II after a solid debut season. The 2023 MLS SuperDraft pick appeared in all 31 contests for Revolution II, where he notched two goals and one assist. Souza ended the regular season with 2,448 minutes clocked, which ranked third across all of MLS NEXT Pro.
Weinstein returns for a third season with Revolution II. After spending 2022 with Revs II as a Revs Academy product, Weinstein inked a deal with the club ahead of the 2023 season. Weinstein has 26 appearances over two seasons, where he’s tallied 57 saves and allowed 26 goals while notching four clean sheets.
Revolution II declined the options for Ben Awashie, Pierre Cayet, Nakye Greenidge-Duncan, Ítalo, Jake Rozhansky, and Weverton
Awashie inked a deal with Revs II on January 6th after spending four years at UConn and GCU. The 24-year-old appeared in 22 matches, where he notched one goal over 943 minutes.
Cayet’s shocking option decline comes after three productive seasons on the Revs II backline. The French center back appeared in 73 matches, where he tallied six goals and one assist over 6,219 minutes. Cayet ended the 2023 regular season with 2,429 minutes, which ranked fifth across all of MLS NEXT Pro.
Greenidge-Duncan inked a deal with Revolution II on January 6th after two seasons with the Toronto F.C. organization. Greenidge-Duncan appeared in nine contests for Revs II, where he clocked 173 minutes.

Rozhansky signed with Revs II ahead of the 2021 USL League One Season and has been a consistent presence in the midfield ever since. Over three seasons, Rozhansky tallied three goals and 19 assists over 5,591 minutes.
Weverton signed with Revolution II on August 11th, 2022. Through two seasons, Weverton appeared in 20 matches and clocked 558 minutes.
Revolution II also sees Nico Campuzano, Noble Okello, and Colby Quiñones out of contract following the 2023 season.
Campuzano signed with Revolution II on December 8th, 2022. The Spaniard ended the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro season with 12 appearances, where he notched 34 saves and allowed 14 goals while earning four clean sheets.
Okello signed with Revolution II on March 16th after spending the preseason on trial with the first team. Okello tallied one goal over 540 minutes.
Quiñones, a Revolution II original, signed with the club on November 30, 2020, after appearing throughout the 2020 season. Quiñones appeared in 78 contests over four seasons, where he tallied one goal and three assists over 4,681 minutes. Colby Quiñones was the only player from Revolution II's inaugural 2020 squad still with the club.
While players find themselves out of contract or had their options declined, it’s important to remember that there is always the chance some of the names listed above could see a return to Revolution II for 2024.
Adebayo-Smith should get a look from the first team.
Leal and Adebayo-Smith look like good depth options for the Revs next year.
Adebayo-Smith especially if Bou moves on and Rennicks isn't retained.
