Revolution and Beasley Media Group Extend Their Radio Broadcast Partnership.
The extension ensures 98.5 The Sports Hub remains the flagship home of the New England Revolution.
The New England Revolution and Beasley Media Group gave Revs fans some exciting news on Monday as they announced a renewed radio partnership to keep 98.5 The Sports Hub the flagship home of the Revolution.
DJ Bean, who has spent over a decade covering the Boston sports market, will host a new weekly soccer show airing on Saturday mornings from 6 - 7 AM. Bean also officially joins the New England Revolution's content team after spending time with NBC Sports Boston.
The newly founded soccer show will preview every MLS matchup that weekend, along with coverage of the US national teams, top European leagues, and more. The show will also feature exclusive Revolution guests along with top experts.
The most exciting news revolved around the radio broadcast of Revolution matches. Long-time Revolution broadcaster Brad Feldman will return to the booth alongside Revolution legend Charlie Davies for the duo’s fourth season calling Revolution matches. All 34 of the Revs Major League Soccer matches will air on 98.5 The Sports Hub (98.5 The Sports Hub HD2 if there are schedule conflicts). For those subscribed to MLS Season Pass, a feature will enable you to use the home team’s radio call audio during the broadcast.
Finally, head coach and sporting director Bruce Arena will continue to appear on 98.5 The Sports Hub programming to preview the week’s match. Revs players will appear on the station to give their thoughts while Mike “Sarge” Riley’s “Revolution Audio” podcast continues for a third season.
