Report: Tajon Buchanan "Priority Target" for Inter Milan
The former Rev could be on the way to Milan as the club searches for Juan Cuadrado's replacement.
The Revolution could see an influx of cash coming their way when the winter transfer window, as Tajon Buchanan could be on the move.
Serie A giants Inter Milan find themselves down a man as Juan Cuadrado is scheduled to undergo surgery and will miss some time. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Canadian international and Brugge man is a “priority target” for Inter.
Romano notes a deal for Buchanan will not be easy but reports Inter Milan will “make contact with parties involved soon.”
Inter Milan isn’t the only suitor calling on Buchanan, as reports from the Daily Star’s Harry Pratt indicated treble winners Manchester United had their eye on Tajon. According to Pratt, the 18 months remaining on Buchanan’s contract could drive up Brugge’s asking price. Pratt stated Manchester City would have to “cough up £50 million (~$63,165,000) to bag him.
Buchanan’s transfer to Belgian side Club Brugge in the summer of 2021 included a 10% sell-on clause if Brugge were to sell Buchanan.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a Tajon Buchanan transfer rumor, as his name has been linked to numerous top European clubs since departing New England. Like the previous rumors, we’ll have to wait and see if any deal comes to fruition.
