Olger Escobar, Levi Katsell Receive International Call-Ups

Revolution II forward Olger Escobar and Revs Academy midfielder Levi Katsell are off to the international stage as the duo received call-ups to their respective national teams.
Escobar has received his eighth international call-up as he joins the Guatemala senior national team ahead of World Cup Qualifying action. The Malden, Massachusetts native has 16 appearances across the senior and youth levels, where he’s tallied seven goals.
His senior debut and lone appearance came on November 12, 2023, when he clocked 16 minutes as a substitute in a scoreless draw against Jamaica. Escobar will look to add to his experience at the senior level when Guatemala squares off against Nicaragua on Sunday, May 26, inside PayPal Park in San Jose, California.
Escobar has appeared in four matches for Revolution II in 2024, where he's clocked 115 minutes. His most recent call-up means Escobar will miss Revolution II’s next match on May 26th when they host NYCFC II in New Hampshire.
Katsell has received his first international call-up as he joins the Czech Republic U-15 squad for a week-long training camp. The San Diego, California native currently plays for the Revolution’s U-15 squad, where he’s tallied three goals thus far.
