Noel Buck Earns England Men’s Elite League Squad Call Up
More beans on toast for Buck!
While Noel Buck is struggling to make the field for the New England Revolution, the midfielder has earned another call up to an English National Team.
It was announced on Friday that Buck had been named to the England Men’s Elite League Squad (U-20). Buck is the one of three players to play for a non-English club. So far Buck has made eight appearances for the Young Lions since catching the attention of the English FA.
In 2024, the 19-year-old has featured in seven MLS matches with three starts. While that might seem like a decent amount of playing time, he has only 187 minutes played in league play.
The Young Lions will play Sweden on June 7 (10:00 a.m. ET), before facing the Republic of Ireland on June 11 (10:00 a.m. ET).
He’s in the running with players from Premier League academies but don’t worry about that the brilliant tactician Porter sees nothing in him and thinks he sucks
I’d love to see Buck get some minutes for the first team. But even if he doesn’t, I hope he goes to England and impresses!
