MLS Players Association Releases Fall Salary Data
See how the Revolution spent on its roster in the second half of 2025!
Wednesday provided fans a better insight into how and where the New England Revolution spent on the roster as the Major League Soccer Players Association released its fall salary data. Here’s a breakdown of how the Revs spent in the second half of the season.
The summer window saw two big additions for the Revolution, who welcomed back Matt Turner and saw Dor Turgeman arrive.
Turner, who was a designated player to finish the 2025 season, earned a guaranteed compensation of $1,942,886. On the other hand, Turgeman earned a guaranteed compensation of $740,000.
It’s no shocker, but Designated Player Carles Gil was the highest-paid player, earning a guaranteed compensation of $4,702,083. Gil’s compensation is the 14th-highest in Major League Soccer in 2025.
Gil joins Leo Campana ($1,372,333), Tomás Chancalay ($1,060,000), Ignatius Ganago ($1.300,000), Matt Turner ($1,942,886), and Jackson Yueill ($1,086,750) as the seven players to surpass the million-dollar mark.
Despite the on-field results, New England undoubtedly spent on the roster. The Revs were the 12th-highest spenders in the league after paying a guaranteed $19,108,374.

Of those seven, only Gil, Turner, and possibly Ganago were worth the price.
Math. Evidently not a strong suit for some in the front office.
