Marcos Dias Named to MLS NEXT Pro Best XI
The midfielder receives league recognition following impressive regular season performance.
Marcos Dias’ incredible regular season received league recognition on Friday when he became the first player in Revolution II history to be named to the MLS NEXT Pro Best XI.
His inclusion comes after the midfielder appeared in all 28 regular season matches, tallying 10 goals and a league-record 13 assists. A performance that saw Dias earn the Playmaker of the Year award.
Since arriving in New England ahead of the 2022 season, Dias has set record after record, leading the club in appearances (96), goals (34), assists (22), and minutes played (8,471).
Dias and Revolution II begin their quest for the MLS NEXT Pro Cup on Sunday, when they host Chicago Fire II inside Gillette Stadium in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
