November’s international window will see plenty of Revolution representation as Esmir Bajraktarević, JD Gunn, Cristiano Oliveira, and Alhassan Yusuf will represent their respective international teams!
Esmir Bajraktarević joins Bosnia & Herzegovina for a pair of UEFA Nations League meetings. They open the window on November 16th when they travel to Europa-Park Stadium in Freiburg to face Germany at 2:45 PM ET. They’ll then return home to the Bilino Polje Stadium in Zenica to host the Netherlands on November 19th at 2:45 PM ET.
Since switching to Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bajraktarević has received three straight call-ups to the national team, where he’s tallied one assist in four appearances.
Alhassan Yusuf returns to the Nigerian national team for two qualifying matches for the Africa Cup of Nations. They’ll open the window on the road as they face Benin on November 14th at 2:00 PM ET before returning home to face Rwanda on November 18th at 11:00 AM ET inside Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
Yusuf has appeared in six matches for the Super Eagles, where he has clocked 212 minutes.
JD Gunn is returning to the Panama national team for a pair of Concacaf Nations League matches against Costa Rica. Panama opens the window on November 14th at 9:00 PM when they travel to Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica in San José before returning home to Estadio Rommel Fernandez in Panama City on November 18th at 9:00 PM ET.
After representing Panama on the basketball court when he was younger, Gunn received his first soccer call-up on October 2nd. While Gunn didn’t appear for Panama in October’s window, he did get the chance to show off his karaoke skills.
Cristiano Oliveira will travel to West Palm Beach, Florida, for a week-long training camp with the United States Under-17 National Team. It marks Oliveira’s second call-up in the US youth system as he participated in an Under-16 camp in November 2023.
Oliveira’s call-up comes after appearing in 10 matches for Revolution II in 2024, where he tallied one assist over 544 minutes. After spending 2024 with Revs II on an Amateur Agreement, Oliveira ascended the Pro Player Pathway on October 11th after signing a deal with the club through the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro season.
