Just hours before kicking off the 2026 season, the New England Revolution saw an influx of cash Saturday afternoon as the club received $225,000 in General Allocation Money from the Houston Dynamo in exchange for an international roster spot, which will return to New England at the start of the Secondary Transfer Window (July 13th).

Saturday marks the second time in the past few days New England has temporarily dealt away an international roster spot. Thursday saw the club send an international spot, which will return at the start of the Secondary Transfer Window, to Inter Miami CF in exchange for $125,000 of GAM in 2026 plus another $125,000 of GAM in 2027.

With New England’s roster practically full, a crisp $475,000 in GAM over the next two seasons is a good deal, especially considering both international roster spots will return to the club in the summer.

The Marko Mitrović Era kicks off on Saturday night at 8:30 as the Revs take on Nashville SC inside Nashville’s Geodis Park.
