The USL League Two Northeast Division gained another club on Monday as the league announced that New England Force would field a team beginning in 2027.
New England Force launched in 2025. Revolution fans will recognize one member of the organization as former player and current radio broadcaster Charlie Davies, who serves as technical director. The club is located in the South Shore.
"From the outset of our club, we have promised our members and our community that we would work to provide soccer opportunities in this geographic region of the South Shore that did not exist previously," said Don Whitaker, New England Force general manager. "Entry to USL League Two is another step in delivering on those promises. We thank our players, families, and staff for helping us achieve this monumental step for our program and to help support us in continuing the development and advancement of the game on the South Shore and in the Northeast.”
New England Force becomes the latest New England-based organization to enter USL League Two, joining reigning two-time champs Vermont Green FC, AC Connecticut, Black Rock FC, Boston Bolts, Boston City FC, Connecticut Rush, New England FC, Seacoast United, and Western Mass Pioneers.
