Revolution Academy midfielder Logan Azar received some positive news on as the Hudson native learned he was selected to represent the New England Revolution in the 2026 MLS NEXT All-Star Game!

2026 has seen the Hudson native start to emerge from the Academy as he’s one of several prospects to get a taste of professional action with Revolution II.

After clocking six minutes off the bench against Crown Legacy on May 22 and being an unused sub against FC Cincinnati 2 on June 7, Azar returned to the starting lineup on June 21 against Red Bull New York II, where he clocked a full 90 minutes against the reigning MLS NEXT Pro Cup champions and ended the afternoon completing 14 of 18 passing attempts, won three tackles, recovered the ball twice, and completed one clearance.

While Azar is incredibly happy to be with Revolution II, he notes it’s been a bit of a challenge transitioning to the club, but he’s excited to face it.

“It’s a cool environment," he told The Blazing Musket. "We all want to be here, but it’s definitely a hard step, and we have to be comfortable in that, and just be able to play your game and have fun.”

When it comes to representing the Revolution during this summer during All-Star Weekend, it’s something he takes incredible pride in not only for himself, but for his family as well.

“It’s very cool, obviously, to represent New England," he said. "I’ve been in Mass my whole life, so it’s a very cool experience and to be named an All Star, obviously, again, very cool, very exciting for me and my family to be having my name put out there.”

Azar becomes the seventh player to represent the organization in the MLS NEXT All-Star game. He joins the likes of Esmir Bajraktarević, Jack Panayotou, Olger Escobar, Damario McIntosh, Cristiano Oliveira, and Josh Macedo.

July 27th sees Azar and the MLS NEXT All-Stars take the field at Mecklenburg County Sportsplex in Matthews, North Carolina, at 7:30 PM ET, streaming live on the MLS website and YouTube channel.
