Vermont Green FC captain Zach Zengue has signed a first team deal with the Columbus Crew. The MLS side drafted Zengue in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft.
Zengue played collegiately at Georgetown University from 2022-25, scoring 22 goals and 28 assists in 81 appearances (61 starts). In 2025, he started all 22 appearances for Georgetown, recording 14 assists and 14 goals to help the Hoyas to the Elite 8 of the 2025 NCAA Men's Soccer College Cup.
Zengue led Vermont Green FC this season in appearances (19) and goals (9). He finished his third season with the club as the joint all-time leader in assists with eight and played a key role in the club's trophy-winning campaign. He is second all-time in appearances with 46, and second all-time in goals with 17.
Zengue is under contract with the Crew for the 2026 season with club options for 2027, 2028 and 2029.
