The New England Revolution could be without one of their best attackers to start the playoffs.
According to Apple TV's Michele Giannone, the knock that saw Miller not be picked for international duty will also have an impact on his club. Giannone said that Miller status for the first round of the playoffs is questionable.
The absence of Miller would be a major blow. He has seven goals and seven assists on the season and has broken through on the club and international level.
Additionally, Brooklyn Raines started the Orlando match on the bench as he picked up a knock according to Giannone. Jackson Yueill replaced him in the starting XI for the match.
The potential return of Jack Harrison could help dampen the blow of losing Miller. Harrison is expected to return to first team training during the international window but how many minutes he will be able to play remains to be seen.
UPDATE: Our own Seth Macomber is reporting that there is the potential for Miller to be back in training as early as next week.
