Vermont Green FC Adds Syracuse Midfielder Sam Layton

Layton will trade orange for green this summer

Vermont Green FC continues to build out its roster ahead of the 2024 USL League Two season as the club announced that Australian midfielder Sam Layton will be joining the Green this summer.

Layton is heading into his senior season. He previously played for Southern Illinois University Edwardsville where he made 53 appearances and tallied two goals and eight assists.

The midfielder is also a product of the Burnley FC Academy.
