Vermont Green FC Adds 2 Players Ahead of 2023 Season Opener

The 2023 USL League Two season kicks off on Saturday but Vermont Green FC is still making some additions to their roster. The club announced that midfielder Matthew Alfred and defender Moussa Ndiaye have joined Vermont’s squad.

Alfred will be playing his college ball at Iowa Western this upcoming year and spent 2022 with Central Connecticut State University. The Florida native made just four appearances and one start with CCSU. Prior to his collegiate playing days, Alfred was a member of Orlando City’s MLS Next U19 squad.

Ndiaye is coming off his freshman season at VCU where he started all 17 games and tallied an assist.
