USMNT Announces June Call-Ups
The Tillman brothers along with Brenden Aaronson and Josh Sargent make up the roster.
The United States Men’s National Team announced a 27-man roster for a June camp that will take part as the USMNT prepares for friendlies against Colombia and Brazil.
Former New England Revolution goalkeeper Matt Turner once again received a call-up as he remains the No. 1 in net for the United States. Josh Sargent also received his first call-up since the 2022 World Cup while Cameron Carter-Vickers, Luca de la Torre, and Sean Johnson each earned their first camp appearances of 2024.
“This summer presents an opportunity for us to progress and grow as a team as we continue to build towards the 2026 FIFA World Cup,” USMNT head coach Gregg Berhalter said. “We have a talented group of players and are excited about the opportunity to compete against some of the best teams in the world.”
The roster also features a set of brothers as both Malik and Timothy Tillman earned call-ups. They would become the ninth set of brothers to play for the USMNT in the same match if they earn playing time together in the two upcoming friendlies.
The U.S. is 3-13-5 all-time vs. Colombia while the USMNT is 1-18-0 against the Seleção all-time, the lone victory coming during the 1998 Concacaf Gold Cup.
