Revolution Roster Construction Revealed
See how the Revolution will form their roster to start 2025!
Thursday saw all 30 MLS teams announce their roster designations to start 2025. There was no surprise from the New England Revolution, as the club will use the Under-22 Roster Model to start 2025 off.
2025 sees newcomers Ilay Feingold, Leonardo Campana, Brayan Ceballos, Mamadou Fofana, Ignatious Ganago, Jackson Yueill, Tanner Beason, Alex Bono, Wyatt Omsberg, and Allan Oyirwoth occupy senior roster spots alongside Tomas Chancalay, Carles Gil, Luca Langoni, Alhassan Yusuf, Brandon Bye, Andrew Farrell, Matt Polster, and Will Sands.
Newcomers Luis Diaz, Damario McIntosh, Donovan Parisian, and Maxi Urruti join Noel Buck, Malcolm Fry, Aljaž Ivačič, Peyton Miller, Jack Panayotou, and Tiago Suarez on the supplemental roster.
Carles Gil and Tomas Chancalay will occupy the club’s two Designated Player spots, while Luca Langoni and Ilay Feingold occupy two of the four available U-22 Initiative spots.
Loanee Ignatious Ganago joins Leo Campana, Brayan Ceballos, Mamadou Fofana, Jackson Yueill, and Alhassan Yusuf as players on TAM-level deals for 2025.
One interesting tidbit included in the release is that recently acquired prospect Allan Oyirwoth will be unavailable for the Revs as he will be out on loan. All indications lead to the belief that the Ugandan prospect will spend the 2025 season with MLS NEXT Pro side Revolution II, yet there’s been no official word.
Oyirwoth isn’t the only player out on loan, as defender Tiago Suarez joined USL Championship side Birmingham Legion in January.
The Revolution's international roster is full as Ceballos, Chancally, Feingold, Fofana, Ivačič, Langoni, and Yusuf occupy all eight available. Yet there is always the chance any of the longer-tenured members on the list could receive their green card and open a spot on the international roster.
Thanks to Thursday's announcement, we know Noel Buck, Brandon Bye, Luis Diaz, Andrew Farrell, Aljaž Ivačič, Wyatt Omsberg, Matt Polster, and Maxi Urruti are on the final guaranteed year of their contracts. Buck, Diaz, Farrell, Ivačič, Omsberg, and Urruti will have options to return for 2026, while Bye and Polster’s current deal will expire following the 2025 season.
With the roster structured for the first part of 2025, things could change come the summer as MLS clubs can switch what model they will use from July 1st to August 21st.
