It’s official! New England Revolution II’s first-ever playoff match will occur on Sunday, October 1st, as they welcome seventh-seeded Philadelphia Union II to Gillette Stadium.
Revs II enters their first postseason after ending the 2023 regular season with 56 points on a 14-6-8 record with six shootout victories! Revolution II’s success led them to secure the second seed in the East and the first selection in the “pick your opponent” MLS NEXT Pro Playoff format.
Philadelphia Union II secured the final playoff spot in the East after securing a 3-1 victory over New York Red Bulls II. Marlon LeBlanc ended the 2023 regular season with 42 points on a 12-12-4 record with two shootout wins. Despite the record, Philadelphia comes into the playoffs on a three-game winning streak after picking up a 5-3 win over TFC II, a 2-1 win over Huntsville, and a 3-1 win to wrap up the regular season against NYRB II!
