Revs II add two more players ahead of Pablo Moreira's debut season.

Revolution II continued preparations for the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season on Monday as the club announced the addition of Jake Shannon, plus the re-signing of Max Weinstein.
Shannon joins Revolution II after spending four seasons at the collegiate level with UNC Wilmington, the former home of now goalkeeping coach and UNCW Hall of Famer, Brad Knighton.
During his time with the Seahawks, the Apex, North Carolina native tallied four goals and four assists over 69 appearances, clocking 6,219 minutes.
Shannon’s time with Wilmington also saw him secure Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Third Team honors in 2022, 2023, and 2024, plus 2023 CAA All-Rookie, 2025 CAA First-team, and 2025 CAA Co-Defender of the Year honors.
Weinstein returns to New England after re-signing to a one-year deal.
The 21-year-old spent the second half of the 2025 season on loan with Estonian side Kalev Tallinn. Weinstein made 16 appearances with Tallinn as the club finished bottom of the table and was relegated to the Esiliiga.
The Montpellier, Vermont native’s time with Revolution II began in 2022 when he tallied three clean sheets in eight appearances as a member of the Revolution Academy. He became a full-time member of the club after inking his first professional contract on March 20, 2023.
Since debuting in 2022, Weinstein has tallied six clean sheets and 101 saves over 27 appearances for the club.
Shannon and Weinstein join Revolution II as the club prepares to kick off the first season under the helm of newly appointed head coach Pablo Moreira.
