Revolution Announce Updated Technical Staff
A few new faces join the fold ahead of the 2025 season.
As the organization prepares to kick off the 2025 season in Nashville, the New England Revolution announced updates to the technical staff ahead of the new year.
Head Coach Caleb Porter returns for his second season in New England alongside his two assistants, Pablo Moreira and Blair Gavin. Goalkeeper coach Kevin Hitchcock returns for his seventh year. Marc Ortà Esteban joins for his first year as a Set Piece analyst after spending the past two seasons with Brentford.
While Federico Pizzuto returns for a second year as Director of Sports Performance, 2025 saw the Revs welcome Marco Canolintas as a Sports Performance Scientist/Analyst. Canolintas joins the Revolution after spending the last two seasons with Marshall University and has previously worked with clubs such as Liverpool, Parma, Napoli, and Frosinone.
The announcement also included updates to the Revolution II staff. Richie Williams returns for a second year while former Revs goalkeeper and Academy coach Brad Knighton ascends to serve as an assistant/goalkeeping coach.
Knighton is not the only Academy coach who jumped to Revs II in 2025. Michael Milazzo joins the MLS NEXT Pro side after coaching the Revolution’s U-15 and U-18 sides over the past three seasons.
Revolution II also added Bilal Bejaoui as a Sports Performance Coach. Bejaoui joins New England after a previous stint as the fitness coach for PSG’s U-19 squad.
Milazzo’s appointment to Revolution II meant changes at the Academy level for the Revolution. Abel Wasswa becomes the U-14 coach, while Jay Mims becomes the U-18 coach. After leading the U-14s to a perfect 13-0-0 record, Liam Connors moved up to the U-15 level.
