Report: Pair of Bucks Return to New England
According to Tom Bogert, Noel and Joseph Buck are set for a return to the Revolution.
According to GiveMeSport’s Tom Bogert, Homegrown Noel Buck will return to the New England Revolution when his loan spell with English Premier League side Southampton concludes.
Since arriving in Southampton in August, Buck has primarily featured for the club’s Under-21 side, where he’s clocked 511 minutes over six Premier League 2 appearances.
According to Bogert, Buck “impressed” during his time with Southampton, yet it appears Southampton will not trigger the purchase clause included in Buck's loan.
Noel isn’t the only Buck bound for New England. On top of his reporting over Noel’s return, Bogert reported that Joseph, Noel’s brother, had signed with New England Revolution II.
Joseph Buck is no stranger to Revs II as the former Academy product appeared in two matches during the 2021 USL League One season before departing for Georgetown.
The Arlington, Massachusetts native appeared in 74 matches for the Hoyas, where he tallied four goals and five assists and helped Georgetown secure the 2024 Big East title.
Good for us, let's hope Porter doesn't just keep him in the dog house.
If I were Buck I’d be trying to find another club to take me because I don’t see how he’d realistically get any playing time with our midfield if everyone stays healthy. I hope things work out for him!
