Those were the final words in last year’s reflection article. I wanted them to be the first of this year’s.

Everyone at The Blazing Musket wants you to know that we appreciate every read, comment, and share. We especially appreciate all of our subscribers.

I’ve been writing about soccer in New England since 2012, and I’m still humbled that people value my thoughts. My goal has always been to be fair and accurate in my reporting, and I hope I’ve done that.

As a site, we aim to bring you the best coverage the region has to offer. Yes, most of you are here to read about the New England Revolution, but we offer so much more.

Want to know about the latest Vermont Green game? Sam and Dolan were probably there.

Hoping to get some insight on the next big thing coming from Revs II? Josh has you covered.

Stephen, Matt, Liz, and Greg will provide the latest Rhode Island FC news, while Oliver and Nate will keep you updated on Hartford Athletic.

Jackie has done a great job covering BOS Nation FC, if that is their real name.

My point is that we try really hard to do the best we can for a sport that is often underappreciated.
