Portland Hearts of Pine Announce Roster Moves
See who's sticking around and who's leaving.
Portland Hearts of Pine’s roster saw some slight tweaks on Tuesday as one player had their contract extended while another departed.
Jake Keegan’s time with the club will continue longer as performance-based incentives extended his contract with Portland through the end of the season.
Keegan joined Hearts of Pine on March 18. Since then, the forward has appeared in 10 matches across all competitions. His time in Portland has seen him notch one goal over 255 minutes.
His lone goal helped Portland secure a come-from-behind draw in extra time during their second-round match in the U.S. Open Cup. He also scored in the shootout to help Portland secure a 5-3 shootout victory and advance to the next round.
While Keegan is here to stay, the club and defender Samuel Mahlamäki Camacho have mutually agreed to terminate his contract.
Mahlamäki Camacho joined Portland back in January. His time with Hearts of Pine saw him clock 474 minutes over eight appearances.
Portland Hearts of Pine returns to action on July 16 when they host Greenville Triumph at Fitzpatrick Stadium at 6:30 PM ET.
