Peyton Miller Named to U.S. U-17 World Cup Roster
Miller will travel to Indonesia for the tournament in November and December.
Revolution II defender and midfielder Peyton Miller returns to the international stage as U-17 head coach Gonzalo Segares selected Miller to represent the United States in the upcoming Under-17 World Cup in Indonesia in November and December.
The United States kickoff Group E play on November 12 against Korea Republic at 8 AM ET. November 15 will see the US face Burkina Faso at 5 AM ET while they wrap up the Group Stage on November 18th as they face France at 8 AM ET.
Miller’s naming to the squad follows a breakout season with MLS NEXT Pro side Revolution II. Miller appeared in 25 matches for Revs II, where he tallied three goals and three assists over 1,842 minutes of action.
Miller’s efforts with the Academy and Revs II have led him to three previous call-ups to the U-17 squad and six appearances across the United States youth levels.
On June 12, Miller became the youngest player in New England Revolution history to sign a Homegrown deal with the club at 15 years and 274 days old. He will officially ascend to the first team ahead of the 2024 MLS season.
