New England Revolution II forward Olger Escobar will spend more time with the Guatemala National Team, as he was named to the 25-man roster ahead of upcoming Concacaf Nations League action.
Escobar is currently with the Guatemala National Team. He was called up for an international friendly against Uruguay, where he played 45 minutes as a substitute in a 1-1 draw.Â
September 1st’s draw against Uruguay marked the 17-year-old forward’s third cap at the senior level for Guatemala, where he now has clocked 103 minutes.Â
Guatemala opens their Nations League run later on September 5 hosting Martinique at 10:00 pm ET before wrapping up September’s slate of games on the 9 when they host Costa Rica at 10:00 pm ET.
