Marcos Dias Announces Departure From Revolution II
The midfielder leaves New England following a legendary four-year stay that saw him etch his name into the Revolution II history book.
Marcos Dias’ tenure with Revolution II came to an end on Saturday when the midfielder took to his Instagram page to announce he would not be returning to the club in 2026.
Saturday’s announcement comes on the heels of an outstanding 2025 season that saw the Brazilian midfielder end the year with a staggering 10 goals and an MLS NEXT Pro single-season record 13 assists. A performance that led to Dias taking home 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Playmaker of the Year honors.
Dias departs New England Revolution II as the all-time leader in goals (34), assists (22), appearances (97), and minutes played (8,561).
It marks the second big departure for the club this offseason as free agent Liam Butts signed with Atlanta United 2 in December 2025

Are they letting the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Playmaker of the Year just walk out the door? Why isn't he being resigned or promoted to the Revs MLS squad?
