Joe Buck Finding Familiarity With Revolution II
Hear what Joe Buck had to say about his return to Revs II and the 2025 season.
2025 sees former Revolution Academy prospect Joe Buck return to Revolution II after spending four seasons with the Georgetown Hoyas. While a lot has changed since the Arlington native made two appearances for the club during their 2021 USL League One campaign, some stuff hasn’t.
“It feels good,” he said. “It’s been good to be home, nice to see some familiar faces again. Obviously, I spent some summers training and know a lot of people around the club, which is really helpful. It’s kind of eliminated that transition period of coming to a new team.”
One of the more familiar faces to Joe has been his younger brother, Revolution Homegrown Noel Buck. As expected, the bond between the two brothers has always been strong and has grown stronger since Joe’s return to the organization.
“Being around Noel again is awesome,” he said. “We’re super supportive of one another. It’s nice to spend time with him. I think we both help each other be better players. It’s so nice to be close to home and be able to help each other through the trials and tribulations of soccer.”
When asked what sparked his return to the team, Buck said it was the familiarity.
“I knew the coaching staff, I knew a lot of guys on the team, so it’s been great to reintegrate back here. I feel comfortable in a good way here, where I can work hard and improve.”
