Henry Kessler Inks Contract Extension
The 25-year-old's TAM deal secures him through the 2025 season with an additional club option for 2026!
King Kess’ reign in New England will continue for the foreseeable future as the 25-year-old center back inked a two-year contract extension using Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) to keep Kessler with the Revs through the 2025 MLS season with an additional one-year club option for 2026.
Kessler had his 2023 season derailed after suffering a right hamstring injury that required surgery. Thankfully, Kess is getting back into the mix as he clocked 45 minutes during October 7th's 3-2 loss to Orlando.
Kessler began his Revolution career after the club selected the Virginia Cavalier with the 6th overall pick in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft. Since then, Kessler has appeared in 86 matches across all competitions and has notched four goals over 7,006 minutes.
Kessler and the Revolution return to action on Saturday, October 14th, as they travel to Geodis Park to face Nashville SC.
Hope he can stay healthy ??
