Gabe Dahlin Credits Team for Success in Debut
Hear what Dahlin had to say after making his Revolution II debut!
Halftime saw Richie Williams go to the bench as Gabe Dahlin came on to make his Revolution II and professional debut.
The former Bucknell and Monmouth defender put up a solid performance, which finished with Dahlin completing one clearance, one interception, three defensive actions, and eight recoveries to help Revs II secure their second clean sheet of the season.
“I think the team did a great job both offensively and defensively, and we got the job done,” he said.
Dahlin usually plays at center back, but Thursday’s match saw him come on to replace Hesron Barry at left-back. Despite the adjustment, Dahlin said it wasn’t hard adjusting to the new position. He also credited everyone around him for making the transition easy.
Dahlin will look to build on his solid debut performance when Revolution II returns to action on March 28th when they host Toronto FC II at 2 PM ET.
