Former Revs Retirement: Gustavo Bou Hangs Up His Boots
La Pantera will play for Club Defensores de Nebel, the club he is president of in Argentina.
Former New England Revolution striker Gustavo Bou has announced his retirement in an Instagram post.
La Pantera will play for Club Defensores de Nebel, the club he is president of in Argentina, and also where he began his career.
Bou scored 44 goals with 20 assists in 100 regular season games since joining the Revs from Liga MX’s Club Tijuana in July 2019. His goal tally sees him currently fifth in club history.
La Pantera played for Club Atlético Talleres in Argentina’s First Division in 2023-24 where he registered 13 total appearances and scored two goals.
With his ability to pull goals out of nowhere, Revolution fans will remember the striker fondly. It is great to see him paying back the club where he got his start.
Loved watching him play when he was healthy enough to. Wishing him the best in retirement!
