Five Prospects Revs Should Select in 2026 MLS SuperDraft
Five prospects the Revs should have on their board ahead of Thursday's SuperDraft
With 2025 in the rearview mirror, the New England Revolution will begin to turn its attention to 2026 and beyond on Thursday, December 18th, when the club participates in the 2026 MLS SuperDraft.
After finishing the season with a 9-16-9 record, the Revolution enter the SuperDraft with the 8th, 38th, and 68th picks. Fans looking to know who the Revs select in the SuperDraft can follow along the league’s draft tracker when it begins at 2 PM ET on the MLS website.
Considering the Revs enter 2026 with 25 players under contract, I expect New England to enter the draft looking to find high-potential players that can develop with Revolution II and potentially become first-team-caliber players.
With that in mind, here are five prospects the Revs should look to take in Thursday’s draft.
1.) Zach Ramsey - Midfielder | Washington University
Ramsey enters the SuperDraft after spending the past two seasons at Washington.
After netting two goals and two assists in 17 appearances his freshman season, 2025 was a breakout season for the Redmond, Washington native, ending the year with seven goals and eight assists in 23 appearances.
2025 saw Ramsey and the Pilots end the season with a 10-6-2 record and earn a spot in the NCAA College Cup Tournament.
Washington’s cup run began on November 20th with a meeting against Oregon State in the opening round. Ramsey made an impact in the 57th minute when he assisted Harrison Betros’ goal to level the match. Ramsey clocked 93 minutes as the Pilots advanced after Richie Aman’s 104th-minute strike led to Washington securing a 3-2 victory.
November 23rd saw Ramsey clock 51 minutes as the Pilots advanced following a 1-0 shutout victory over fifth-seeded SMU.
Ramsey’s impact was felt once again in Washington’s third-round match as he assisted on Charlie Kosakoff’s 88th-minute goal, which led to the Pilots advancing after a 1-0 win over 12th-seeded Stanford.
The quarterfinals saw Ramsey clock 60 minutes as the Pilots punched their ticket to the College Cup after securing a 3-1 win over fourth-seeded Maryland.
December 12th saw Ramsey’s offense shine once again as he found the opening goal for Washington in the 32nd minute, as the Pilots cruised to the College Cup Final following a 3-1 victory over 16-seeded Furman University.
When Washington needed him the most, Ramsey delivered again, scoring the opening goal just before halftime in the Final. Ramsey clocked 46 minutes as the Pilots hoisted the College Cup title after securing a 3-2 victory in overtime over 15-seeded NC State.
Ramsey has thrived in the number 10 role at Washington, which is a position the Revolution has lacked depth in since the departure of Esmir Bajrakraktarević. Considering his success at the collegiate level, plus his youth, Ramsey could be a solid option the Revs can look to develop into a first-team prospect down the line.
2 - Isaac Heffers - Defender | NC State
Thursday’s draft could see Isaac Heffers return close to home after spending the last three seasons playing at New Hampshire and NC State.
The Brookline, Massachusetts native’s lone season in The Granite State saw him tally two assists and lead the team with 1,779 minutes over 20 appearances for the Wildcats. He also featured on the American East All-Rookie and All-Tournament teams.
2024 saw Heffers join NC State, where he ended his debut season for the Wolfpack with one goal, two assists, and 1,754 minutes over 20 appearances. Heffers’ first College Cup run saw him tally two assists as the Wolfpack made it to the third round before being eliminated in the third round by Marshall.
2025 saw Heffers and the Wolfpack put on a masterclass in defense, ending the season with the fewest goals allowed with just nine. Heffers was a big part of that after tallying one assist and clocking 1,787 minutes in 21 appearances.
2025 saw the Wolfpack earn the 15th national seed and receive a first-round bye. Their tournament began on November 23rd as Heffers clocked a full 90 minutes in a 2-0 shutout victory over Marshall.
Heffers clocked another 90 minutes as the Wolfpack cruised to another shutout victory following a 2-0 win over UNC Greensboro. Heffers flashed the offensive side of his game in the quarterfinals as he assisted on Taig Healy’s opening goal in the fifth minute to give NC State an early lead. The Brookline native clocked a full 90 minutes as the Wolfpack held on to secure a 3-2 win over Georgetown.
December 12 saw Heffers and NC State punch their ticket to the College Cup Final after securing a 2-1 win over Saint Louis. Heffers made his impact on the match in the 69th minute when he assisted on Donovan Phillip’s opening goal.
Despite clocking a solid 91 minutes, Heffers and the Wolfpack’s run in the College Cup came to a bitter end in the finals as they suffered a 3-2 loss to Washington University.
With a lack of depth in defense on the first and second teams, Heffers could be a solid prospect to fill that void.
3 - Richard Monath - Midfielder | Deleware
The junior midfielder enters the SuperDraft after spending the last three seasons at the University of Delaware.
Monath’s freshman season saw him take home the Coastal Athletic Association All-Rookie Team. Monath was also named the CAA Freshman of the year after ending 2023 with four goals and six assists in his 19 appearances for the Fightin’ Blue Hens.
2024 was another solid year for the Essex, Maryland native, ending the year with three goals and three assists in 14 appearances. His efforts led to a spot on the 2024 All-ACC Second Team.
2025 was a breakout season for the Junior. Monath ended the year with a staggering 12 goals and two assists in 17 appearances. A performance that saw Monath take home Summit League Midfielder of the Year, First Team All-League, United Soccer Coaches All-West Region, and All-Eastern College Athletic Conference First Team honors.
Similar to Furman’s Hernandez, attacking depth is a need across the first and second teams. Considering the success Monath has already had at the collegiate level and the potential for development, Monath could be a good selection for the Revs.
4 - Stephane Njike - Midfielder | Maryland
Njike enters the SuperDraft after spending the last two seasons playing collegiately at Long Island University and the University of Maryland.
The Strasbourg, France native’s freshman year saw him tally two goals in his five appearances with the Sharks. He also found the back of the net in the Sharks’ 5-2 loss to Maryland in the opening round of the 2024 College Cup tournament.
Njike may be a familiar name to Blazing Musket readers as the midfielder was a part of the Vermont Green squad that secured the 2025 USL League Two title.
2025 saw a change of scenery for Njike as he joined the University of Maryland, where he ended the year with seven goals and seven assists in his 18 appearances with the Terps. Njike’s time in Maryland also saw him earn United Soccer Coaches All-North Region First Team and All-Big Ten First Team honors.
After ending the regular season with a 12-1-3 record, the Terps secured the fourth seed in the College Cup tournament and received a first-round bye. Their quest for the cup began on November 23rd with a meeting against UNC. Njike clocked 95 minutes as Maryland advanced following a 1-1 draw and 4-3 shootout victory.
Maryland’s third round match saw Njike clock 63 minutes as the Terps cruised to the next round following a 3-0 win over UConn. Their run came to an end in the quarterfinal as Njike clocked 80 minutes in a 3-1 loss to Washington.
With question marks over midfield depth, Njike could be a solid prospect for New England to develop with Revolution II.
5 - Mitchell Baker - Forward | Georgetown University
The staggering 6’5” forward enters the SuperDraft after spending the last two seasons at Georgetown University.
After tallying four goals and four assists his freshman season, 2025 was a breakout season for the Melbourne, Australia native, ending the year with 14 goals, tied for the eighth-most in Division I, along with four assists in 21 appearances. A strong 2025 season saw Baker walk away with All-Big East First Team honors.
After a strong regular and postseason performance, the Hoyas earned the seventh seed and a first round bye in the 2025 NCAA College Cup tournament.
The Hoyas’ quest for the cup began on November 23rd with a meeting against UCF. Baker put up a tremendous effort, netting a brace in 82 minutes to help guide the Hoyas to a 2-0 win.
November 29th saw Baker stand out again when he found the back of the net in the 16th minute as the Hoyas prevailed following a 2-1 victory over High Point University.
Georgetown’s run came to an unfortunate end in the quarterfinals following a 3-2 loss to NC State.
Revolution II does have Jayden Da and Sharod George under contract for 2026, but the club desperately needs depth in the attack, especially if Pablo Moreira utilizes a two-striker formation.
Additionally, the Revolution has been fond of Georgetown University prospects over the years. 2014 saw New England select forward Steve Neumann, while last year’s draft saw the Revs select defender Eric Howard. Additionally, Homegrown Jack Panayotou and Revolution II midfielder Joe Buck spent time at Georgetown.
Considering his height, the organization’s need for forward depth, and ties to Georgetown, Baker could be a prospect on the Revolution’s board for Thursday’s draft.

Got some good players to really take a look at.
