Colby Quiñones Called Up to Puerto Rico National Team
The Revolution II veteran joins Puerto Rico ahead of Concacaf World Cup qualifying action!
Revolution II defender Colby Quiñones returns to the international stage after receiving a call-up to the Puerto Rican National Team ahead of Concacaf World Cup qualifiers in June.
The Bedford, New Hampshire native has appeared in four matches for Revolution II in 2024 and has clocked 200 minutes. Quiñones, a Revs II veteran, has appeared in 82 games for the club and tallied one goal and three assists over 4,881 minutes since Revs II’s launch in 2020.
The 21-year-old will look to add to his two previous caps with Puerto Rico when the nation squares off against El Salvador on June 6th and Anguilla on June 11th.
Quiñones’ call-up marks a string of international appearances for Revolution II as he joins Olger Escobar (Guatemala) and Alex Monis (Philippines) in receiving international call-ups.
Revolution II returns to action on Saturday, June 1st, when they travel to Finley Stadium in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to face MLS NEXT Pro newcomers Chattanooga FC at 7:00 PM ET.
