By The Numbers: The 2023 New England Revolution II Regular Season

New England Revolution II wrapped up their 2023 MLS NEXT Pro regular season campaign inside Mecklenburg County Sportsplex as they suffered a 1-0 loss to Eastern Conference stalwart Crown Legacy FC.
Under the leadership of head coach Clint Peay and interim head coach Marcelo Santos, Revolution II went on to have its best season since its inception in October 2019.
1 - Revolution II made club history on August 18th as the one point they earned from their 0-0 draw in regulation against Toronto FC II led to the club securing its first playoff berth.
3 - Gianluca Armellino, Olger Escobar, and Eric Klein became the three latest Revolution Academy products to debut with Revolution II. Since its inception in 2020, 29 Revolution Academy products have made their professional debuts with Revolution II.
3 - On May 21st, Revolution Homegrown Esmir Bajraktarević became the first player to notch a hat trick as he netted goals in the 10th, 75th, and 90’ + 1st to give Revs II a 4-3 comeback victory over Philadelphia Union II.
5 - Ben Awashie, Joshua Bolma, Brandonn Bueno, Peyton Miller, and Victor Souza netted their first professional goals in 2023.
12 - Following June 18th’s 2-1 loss to FC Cincinnati 2, Revolution II went on a phenomenal run to conclude the 2023 campaign that saw them formulate a 12-game unbeaten streak and secure 28 points. The longest unbeaten streaks before 2023 came in 2020 and 2022 when Revs II went unbeaten in five straight matches.
12 - Newcomer Jordan Adebayo-Smith netted a dozen goals in his debut season. It marks the first time a player has amassed double-digit goals in a season. Adebayo-Smith’s impressive debut season sees him sit in third place on Revolution II’s All-Time scoring list.
14 - Throughout their 28 MLS NEXT Pro regular season, Revolution II won 14 games, which sets the club record for most wins in a season! The most before 2023 was during their 2021 USL League One campaign, which saw them win 11 of 28 matches.
14 - Jordan Adebayo-Smith, Ben Awashie, Esmir Bajraktarevic, Joshua Bolma, Brandonn Bueno, Pierre Cayert, Marcos Dias, Malcolm Fry, Peyton Miller, Noble Okello, Jack Panayotou, Damian Rivera, Jake Rozhansky, and Victor Souza were the 14 players to find the back of the net in 2023. It marks the highest number of different goalscorers in a season. The previous record was 11 goalscorers during last year’s MLS NEXT Pro campaign.
16 - After 28 games, Revs II ended the season with a +16 goal differential. It marks the best goal differential in club history and the first positive goal-differential Revs II has seen in its four-year history.
57 - Revolution II found the back of the net 57 times in 2023. It marks the highest number of goals Revs II has scored in a season. Revs II's highest before came in 2021, when they found the net 33 times.
156 - The team put a whopping 156 shots on target in 2023. It marks the most they’ve put on frame.
2,448 - 2023 MLS SuperDraft pick Victor Souza clocked a staggering 2,448 minutes, which ranked third in MLS NEXT Pro! Souza’s 2,448 also marks the most minutes clocked in a single season in Revs II history.
