Many years ago, the great former Revs defender Greg Lalas then of MLSSoccer.com did a video series breaking down the tactical nuances of goals in MLS that were really enjoyable, entertaining, and informative.

This post might make it to that level, but I don’t have the editing skills and equipment to take these things to the next level. But I did want to do a step-by-step analysis of the sequence that led to the Revs winner in Charlotte and overall highlight why I think the Revs should always be considered a dangerous counter-attacking team.
