The New England Revolution faced off against Nashville SC on Wednesday evening and the Revs suffered a 3-0 loss to the top team in the Eastern Conference.

Head coach Marko Mitrovic trotted out his usual starting XI as of late with a noticeable absence. Matt Turner started out in goal behind the backline of Will Sands, Mamadou Fofana, Ethan Kohler, and Peyton Miller.

Brooklyn Raines and Matt Polster were in the midfield, while Griffin Yow and Alhassan Yusuf were out wide. Carles Gil was the No.10 and Dor Turgeman was the lone striker up top.

Luca Langoni was completely left out of the matchday squad after ending up on the injury report.

But what do you need to know about the match? Here are three thoughts.
