The New England Revolution faced off against the Columbus Crew in a Sunday evening match that saw New England secure a 3-1 win.

The starting XI was as expected, with Brooklyn Raines returning to the lineup after serving a one-game suspension for yellow card accumulation. On the bench, Ilay Feingold returned to the matchday squad following an injury stint, while Judah Siqueira made his first bench appearance after signing a first-team contract.

On the other side of the pitch, the Crew gave Josef Martinez his first start since joining Columbus. Additionally, former Manchester United star Eric Bailly featured in the starting XI along with Cape Verde's Steven Moreira. It was also a battle of USMNT goalkeepers with Patrick Schulte facing off against Matt Turner.

But what do you need to know about the match? Here are three thoughts.
