The United Soccer League unveiled a new brand identity built. The new look aims to provide a more connected look across all leagues.

The change comes ahead of the launch of USL Premier. It includes the first logo for the league, and it was announced that the new first division league will launch in 2028.

“We believe American soccer is stronger when more communities have clubs to call their own, more players have opportunities to advance and competition rewards performance on the field,” USL President and CEO Paul McDonough said in a statement. “United for Soccer reflects that belief and our commitment to working alongside our owners, players, fans, and stakeholders to grow the game together.”

The new identity draws inspiration from soccer itself, incorporating elements of the ball, field, and goal nets according to USL. The identity also introduces a unified USL Blue and updated league marks featuring a shared design inspired by woven goal nets.

At its center is a redesigned USL mark inspired by the geometry of a traditional soccer ball. An upward stair-step shape across the S "symbolizes progress and opportunity, demonstrating the USL’s commitment to creating pathways for players and clubs to advance throughout the game," according to USL.
