The New England Revolution have waived defender Keegan Hughes. The center back took up a supplemental roster spot.
Hughes appeared in eight Major League Soccer matches, including five starts, since arriving in New England in 2025. The 26-year-old suited up for an additional six appearances, all of them starts, with Revolution II in MLS NEXT Pro.
The center back has struggled to stay healthy in 2026 and was sent on loan to the Birmingham Legion before eventually being recalled. Without Hughes, Andrew Farrell, Tanner Beason, and Joshua Wynder will serve as bench options behind Mamadou Fofana and Ethan Kohler.
