Barbara Olivieri - Venezuela

Olivieri will represent Venezuela (#41) in two friendlies against Colombia (#20). Venezuela’s next chance at World Cup qualification isn’t until next February, so the 24-year-old is feeling less pressure going into the next pair of games.

“The most important thing going into camps, I think, is just taking what I'm doing here and applying all the values we have here at Boston and going into camp and just trying to be the best version of myself there,” she said last week.

She will also find a familiar face on the opposing side, as teammate Jorelyn Carabali was also called up for Colombia.

“I’m excited to go and play [Carabali,]” said Olivieri.

  • vs. Colombia - Saturday, October 10 at 5 p.m.
  • vs. Colombia - Tuesday, October 13 at 5 p.m.
