Hartford Athletic added two more players to its USL W League roster as the club announced the signing of midfielders Diana Baffor and Ashley Reyes.
Baffor joins Hartford after spending a year at Division III side Hamilton College, where she tallied two goals and an assist in 15 appearances for the program. Before attending college, Baffor captained Suffield Academy, where she tallied 28 goals and 65 assists.
Baffor’s time at Suffield also led to her receiving four All-NEPSAC, NEPSAC Junior All-Star, WWNEPSSA All-Star, two All-State selections, and four team MVP honors. The Right2Dream Academy alum also helped Suffield secure three WWNEPSSA Class B Championships and a NEPSAC Class B Championship in 2021.
Reyes joins Hartford after spending four seasons at Division I side Buffalo University, where she tallied four goals and three assists in 53 appearances with the Bulls. In addition to her experience at the collegiate level, Reyes already has experience at the international level. Reyes received a call-up to the Ecuadorian Youth National Team and competed in the 2024 CONMEBOL U20 Tournament. She also has experience with Ecuador at the senior level.
Baffor and Reyes became the sixth and seventh additions by inaugural head coach Danny Barrera ahead of Hartford’s first season in the USL W League.
