Even with injuries throughout the New England Revolution backline, the club is arguably the hottest team in all of Major League Soccer. As New England prepares for a top-of-the-table clash against Nashville SC, its defensive depth could once again play a factor.
Peyton Miller, Brayan Ceballos, Andrew Farrell, Will Sands, and Ilay Feingold have all dealt with injuries over the early part of the season. While this would derail other teams, the Revolution continue to pick up three points.
This is part in due to emergence of Ethan Kohler. After a difficult start to his career in New England, Kohler has bounced back since replacing an injured Ceballos against the Columbus Crew.
