Tuesday saw CT United FC bolster its defense with the addition of right back Reyniel Perdomo via loan with a purchase option from Panamanian side Alianza FC.
The 24-year-old outside back arrives in Connecticut after stints with Panamanian sides Alianza FC II and Alianza FC, and Costa Rican side Santos de Guápiles FC.
After graduating from the organization’s reserve side, Perdomo went on to tally four goals and three assists in 81 appearances across all competitions in three seasons.
2024 saw Perdomo spend the year on loan with Santos, where he tallied two goals in 19 appearances across all competitions. Since returning from loan, Perdomo has tallied another nine goals and two assists in 38 appearances for Alianza.
Perdomo arrives in Connecticut with silverware under his belt as he helped Alianza secure the 2021/22 Panamanian Apertura title. On top of success at the club level, the Panama City native has broken through with the Panama National Team, earning four caps with the senior team and netting two goals in 11 appearances with the U23 side.
Perdomo and CT United FC kick off the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season on Sunday when they travel to NKU Soccer Park in Highland Heights, Kentucky, to face FC Cincinnati 2 at 6:00 PM ET.
