The New England Revolution continue to make moves as they prepare for the final 20 games of the 2026 season.

Matt Turner, coming off his second World Cup, will remain in New England, as his loan from Lyon has been extended six months. An additional year can be added under certain conditions. If done, it would come with a €1.3 million purchase option.

Turner remains a Targeted Allocation Money-eligible player.

"That was a crucial component of the transaction for us, making sure we have the flexibility to keep Matt Turner as a TAM-eligible player," General Manager and Chief Soccer Officer Chris Tierney said. "I think an important distinction is Matt can be either a DP or a TAM player, so it allows us the flexibility to add another Designated Player if need be. So, that was, like I said, a critical part of the transaction for us."

The Revs have added 22-year-old right back Cody Baker on loan from the Seattle Sounders. Baker will provide cover for Ilay Feingold, who just underwent ankle surgery.

“Cody is a player that we’ve had our eyes on for quite a while," Tierney said. "One of our assistant coaches, Michael Morris, has a history of working together with Cody in Seattle. We felt like he’s a profile player and at an age bracket where he can continue to improve.

"I can also confirm that Ilay Feingold underwent minor ankle surgery, so he’ll be out for a period of time here. Cody gives us some really valuable coverage at the right back position.”

To make room for Baker, Malcolm Fry has been loaned to Lexington SC. The move is seen as a positive for the 21-year-old Homegrown.

"It’s a great opportunity for [Fry] to get some more minutes, and also allows us the ability to bring in Cody in a position of need," Tierney said.

The Revs extended Peyton Miller’s contract through the 2028-29 season, with an additional one-year club option. Tierney called Miller a “high-potential player” whose athletic testing metrics are “at an elite level in comparison to players in his position across the world."

The team is still working to develop the 18-year-old so he can reach his full potential, but overseas interest is certainly there.

“There is plenty of interest from around the globe on Peyton Miller," Tierney said. "Those conversations will remain in-house, but the timing has to be right for the club and the player. Those two things haven’t come together yet, but whether they will at some point or not remains to be seen.”

The club has not received any formal international inquiries for Luca Langoni, who was rumored to be on RSC Anderlecht's radar.

“We haven’t had any conversations about Luca [Langoni] with clubs outside of MLS," Tierney said. "So, we’re focused on getting Luca back to full fitness. He’s been working really hard to do so, and we expect him to be able to contribute to some degree once the season restarts.”

Tierney stated that the team is “definitely” looking to add more pieces during the summer. While the Revs currently have one senior slot available, there’s also a possibility of creating room.

"We currently have one senior roster spot open, so I would expect, pending any outgoing, I think one, if not two, additions this window,” Tierney said.

Having conceded only 18 goals in the first 14 games – making them one of the stingiest teams in the league – the Revs are focusing more on the attacking end of the field.

Tierney declined to speak about reports regarding Jack Harrison, saying, "I wouldn’t be speaking specifically about any players that are under contracts with other clubs."

He does, however, hope to have some sort of news to share in the coming weeks.

When asked whether any deals are close to being finalized, Tierney said, "Conversations are certainly advancing, so my hope and expectation is we’ll have something to announce in the coming weeks."
